Jair Baptista nasceu em Araras, São Paulo, Brasil, e iniciou sua carreira como cantor e vocalista em shows pelo interior de São Paulo. Ele começou durante a época do movimento musical liderado por Roberto Carlos e Erasmo Carlos, conhecido como Jovem Guarda, e teve a oportunidade de se apresentar com vários artistas da época, incluindo Roberto Carlos em duas ocasiões.

Posteriormente, Jair também participou de shows de televisão em São Paulo, onde interagiu com outros artistas e aprimorou ainda mais suas técnicas e experiência. Mais tarde, passou a atuar em várias bandas musicais como vocalista e guitarrista.

Jair Baptista was born in Araras, São Paulo, Brazil, and began his artistic career as a singer/vocalist performing at shows throughout the countryside of São Paulo. He started during the era of the musical movement led by Roberto Carlos and Erasmo Carlos, known as Jovem Guarda, and had the opportunity to perform with various artists of the time, including Roberto Carlos on two occasions.

Jair also participated in television shows in São Paulo, where he was able to interact with other artists and further improve his technique and experience. Later, he began performing in several musical bands as a vocalist and guitarist.

In 1988, Jair moved to Portugal and has since frequently performed at live music shows in locations such as Albufeira, 포르티망, Lagos, Lagoa, and others in the Algarve region.
